Hello!

 My name is Liz Colón, I was born in Santo Domingo, but my family is from Bonao and they live there, so I moved here in order to finish my degree. I’m 22 years old and I live in Ensanche la Fe.  I love helping people, read and share my experiences with my relatives and friends.

    My name is Kelvin Brito, I was born in Salcedo but I came to Santo Domingo when I was 6 or 7 years old I believe. I'm 22 years old, I love reading, traveling, music and history.
    I like clowning around sometimes but I'm really professional and dedicated.

Adverb Clauses of Result: Adverb clauses of result with such...that and so...that present the result of a situation that is stated in the first clause. Let see this: If I say "It was so cold today", I have a simple sentence, but if I add "that we couldn't go out" I have an adverb clause of result. As simple as that! In simple words an adverb clause of result is a simple clause that point out the consequences that brings "the action" we are talking about. I have to say I use this grammar point when talking, but I never thought I was using "Adverb clauses of result". In addition, I did it wrong in the midterm, but at least now I know what the professor was talking about on it.

      The tipping point: at which a series of small changes or incidents becames significant enought to cause a larger, more important change.         The Tipping point is the critical point in an evolving situation that leads to a new and irreversible development. The term is said to have originated in the field of epidemiology when an infectious disease reaches a point beyond any local ability to control it from spreading more widely. The Tipping Point

The Tipping Point :      It is the moment when one particular result of a process becomes the most likely one, after a period, when the result is not sure, and it is also a point at which a series of small changes or incidents become significant enough to cause a larger and more important change. The most important tipping point in the Dominican Republic. 1.- 1965 Trujillo's assassination. 2.- 1844 February 27th. 3.- 1963 Coup d'etat of President Juan Bosch. 4.- 1916 First American Invasion.
